This may seem like a reeeallly dumb question, but how do you convert jpegs to .bums in the Poser Pro Pack? Ithkinlore

I use Paint Shop Pro. But I think you can do it in Window's Paint. In Paint Shop Pro there is a batch conversion feature that can do many at a time

Poser ProPack doesn't require .bum files, only P4.

I must remember to remember what it was I had to remember.

Google IrfanView... tiny but does everything and is free.

For reasons unknown to me, Propack 'sometimes' will not recognize a jpeg file. I've installed Poser4 as 'poser4 only'. When Propack doesn't recognize a particular jpeg file, I open it up in P4 and convert it to a bum file. Some people use different methods, some work some don't. This method works 100% of the time.

don't u just greyscale the image and re-save it for connection to gradient bump node thingy? Not sure.

My aspiration: to make a decent Poser Render I'm an Oldie, a goldie, but not a miracle worker :-)
