This a quick render of the new DAZ3D Natalia (five fingers) and Natrixa (four fingers and four toes). A lot of morphs are provided with the model. They can also use Victoria clothes almost whithout modifications.

Nice Basic body shaping here, but still seeing bad joints (elbow on the right model) and left thumb, and the armpits still seem subject to some distortion. ARe these things impossible to work out? Also, what's the polygon count like? What I don't understand at all is why a new female model already? -Darth

It looks like it has 9000 polygons only for the head. See the other post here from the creator.

Darth, She isn't a Daz model, she was created by dCort. Marque

heyas; darth: i been messing with the collars/shoulders. the prognosis seems to be, no, they can't be done any better than they are :/ i tried! i fiddled. if you get the bend to bend better, then the forward/back works worse. if it looks good from the front, it doesn't from the back. just... ::sigh::

Darth_Logice ( ) posted Mon, 05 March 2001 at 5:40 PM

That is really a shame. I guess it'll take a more advanced approach to human modelling in 3-d then Poser can handle? -Darth

i dunno. i tried all the options i could think of. moving the center (the bend seems it should have its center located at the breastbone, but the front/back doesnt), the zones (the shoulder blade seems to move more than the pectorals).... oh, wait... so far, i havent tried doing screwy rotation orders... that's still another option.
