Hellooooooooo!!! I came home today after driving almost 1000 miles....UGH...into the swedish outback and back (LOL..sigh). Just wanted to share a few photos and perhaps you could tell me wheter (spellcheck...cant reach dictionary) they are "gallery-worthy" or not. That mountain-owl was sooooo cool by the way, wasnt scared of me at all. I took that about 15 feet from him and he just looked at me. Big fella too, probably 3 feet tall. Shouldnt they be asleep during the day by the way??? Beside that one i almost ran over a couble of raindeers, 2 mooses, a fox, bunch of grouses and other weird looking birds while driving there. Hope yall had a lovely time in my absense, let me know if ya want me to prolong my vaction, LOL. ![egen_smiley_smaller.gif](http://upl.silentwhisper.net/uplfolders/upload7/egen_smiley_smaller.gif)

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?

They are all lovely, but I especially like the owl picture! I see them all the time..... by the light of my headlights! LOL :P I usually catch them flying off one of the snow poles and they are mostly wings and tail feathers by the time I see them! So you are very lucky to have captured this wonderful fellow!!!! And yes, you should post them all!

Hi Andreas. All three are really good I think. Cool looking owl.The shot is very well composed and the lighting makes it extra attractive. The sunrise,(what a surprise, lol!),is wonderful. But the third one I think is especially good.I like the colors and the composition very much. The different shades of blue in it are quite beautiful. Welcome back! :)

That owl is such a beauty!! I find these birds totally fascinating!! But I must say that the shot that really does it for me here is the third one!!! Can't take my eyes off it! It makes me think of Mongolia and/or Tibet for some reason. And I just get lost in it......
