When ever i render an image with GLH, no matter the color I choose, It usualy comes out white. Iv emailed quarker to see if there is an upgrad for poser 6. In case there isnt, does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get it to work like it should. Once again, I`ve got poser 6, Grace Lion hair (pp, p5). I really love this hair too. thanks for any help. johnny

Make sure the Diffuse node is set to 1, instead of zero. Also check the texture strength.

I suspect it's something similar to problem that occured with the Sapphire Fox hair.

See attached link for details.

I'll take a look through the files and see if I can spot the exact problem.

I've also found with a texture pack I'm using for GLH that it sets the translucence to white at 1.000 which will also cause it to render white even if diffuse is set to 1.

Can't reproduce the problem.
All the MATs (PP and P5) appear to work as expected.
The translucence setting mentioned by Kalypso doesn't seem to cause trouble.

Perhaps you could post a screenshot of the Material Room for one of the GLH materials.

A MAT pose fix from the merchants would be a great Idea for us beginners...

I have this problem with the PP MATs. I believe I've occasionally had it with the P5 ones, too. It's pretty flakey. Here's the PP "Black" MAT applied. It looks fine in texture shaded mode and in the material room, but renders white.

Thanks folks, this has been a great help. If you look at my lastest render you see that it worked just fine. Beats me, I didnt do anything different. to RGUS, if youre a beginner, then I`m still in the womb. once again thanks.

"to RGUS, if youre a beginner, then Im still in the womb" To "mejed"... mate I must be a beginner, I get this all the time... and I don't know how to fix it. Though sometimes, if I save the scene and reload it, th ehair comes out fine... now that's an expert speaking... LOL
