Subject: Help, lost my baby!

When I try to load the nude infant in poser 4, all that comes up is the diaper, no figure! Likewise for "angel baby" & "demon baby", all I get is wings, halo, horns, etc., but no fig. Checked rsr,cr2, and obj files, everything seems to be intact. Does anyone have any suggestions short of entire reinstall of P4? thanx -KOZ

Have you tried pulling it off the CD? I'm just a newbie at this, but it sounds like your original file name was over-written by the imports. Good luck!

Have you tried deleting the rsr in the Geometries folder?

Tygercub, thanx for your suggestion,was hoping not to have to resort back to cd,(packed away somewhere). Wyrewulf, thanx for your simple solution, worked like a charm....dumb question, why did it work? thanx again, -KOZ

The Geometries folder RSR is a binary copy of the OBJ file that Poser builds the first time the character is loaded. Poser then references the RSR instead of the OBJ (I don't know the specifics of why). Sometimes the RSR is corupted, and causes all kinds of strange behavior.
