13 GHOSTS A-GLIDING . . . Hi, Folks! A few years ago I was invited to submit some of my 3D/digital compositions to an artists forum. The result was this series, which is a Pumpkin-themed play on the Yuletide classic, The Twelve Days of Christmas. I posted it at renderosity a few years ago and thought some of the newer members might enjoy seeing it, so here it is again. With yet another killer hurricane poised to enter the Gulf even as my family struggles to rebuild their lives, my art has become a valuable creative and emotional refuge. I hope yall will like it. Most of these images were rendered using Poser 4 (!) in combination with other software. Post work was completed in Photoshop 5 (!). If you're interested in more information, or in identifying the original creators of any of the props I've used, please post a reply. LOL, I'll take your word on that one because I've never been in a plane full of paratroopers approaching their Drop Zone.

Oh don't stop there. Why not the 130 days of Hallowe'en? Or 1300 days? You could make it Hallowe'en all year round! Hallowe'en is ONE DAY. Some of us are sick and tired of pumpkins already.

Pffft! Party pooper!!!!! Halloween is a time to be a kid again and have fun playing dress up.... not to mention a reason to have great SALES!!!!! Stop being a stick in the mud. If you don't like halloween and are sick of reading it... then don't read the threads about it. This one clearly says "Halloween" in the subject line. If you feel you are being punished and inundated with halloween stuff.... you have only yourself to blame for it because you are the one clicking the links :)

I do not celebrate Halloween as such, and there's no Halloween tradition in Poland. It is an evening before the All Saints Day, and All Saints is a sad day when we all go to cemetaries to put a candle or flowers on graves of our lost loved ones. But I do enjoy all that ghosty/batty stuff (I'm already sick of pumpkins, yes, but it's probably because of different culture) and it is fun seeing all that horror renders and downloading scary stuff. I won't spoil other's fun when I'm enjoying bits of it too, just because I was raised in a different place on Earth ^^ Dr Zik, do you have any idea where this cute ghost comes from ? I'm interested in obtaining him, just because he is SO cute ! ^^

I've been in a plane full of paratroopers a few times, and usually only only one or two puked. (Can't say the same for soiled shorts, though!) Considering the elevated adrenaline levels before a jump, gastrointestinal reactions are to be expected. (OK, totally OT, I know. Just sharing the experience. Urp!)

Hi Folks! I think the ghost is a prop from the DAZ free archives. They've redesigned their site so it seems you can't link to the free area from the home page anymore, but visit them and see if you can find it.

Well, gourds carry on as a decoration through Thanksgiving and I'm sure many in the States have had Pumpking Pie for Thanksgiving too. :) Isn't Christmas only one day - around here, I think it started two months ago. ;)
