Cooooool!!! I have never tried that actually, but now ive gotten some inspiration....lets see if a manage to post something myself...at least its safe now when theres no risk of being the first one...phew...never again, lol. Neat photos Cindy and Nilla...does your candle really have 4 ...stalks (is it stalks? Remember im swedish...laptop in lap prevents me to reach for dictionary..sigh) Excellent Simone!!!!!

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?

Cindy, The last hurricane that hit here was Jeanne in Sept. 2004, after being without power for nine days from Frances 9/04 and having the power knocked out again, I got smart and after Jeanne and went on a mission to Georgia to get a generator, mission was accomplished and I have a generator now, (FEMA reimbursed me!) so we are preparing for the "big blow" from Wilma here, and when it is all over, if there is no power I will bring you the next Simone/Simon via generator if need be! I just popped in at the right time today I guess! Ironic that this Simon is about candles, as I may be living by candlelight in the very near future! giggles Hugs! Brenda :)

Well...now ive tried this shot as well...I might have gone a tad overboard though, LOL Alot of ostrich-eggs in there....they work beautifully as...."candle-cups" (oh god, its just so darn comfortable having lappy in my lap for once...i just cant reach my dictionary...honestly...sigh) they produce a really cosy light...just make sure theyre embryo-free before you stick a candle in there. ![stressed.gif](http://market.renderosity.com/~carrara/emoticons/stressed.gif) "waxy blaze"....??? This will be good I hope. So far some neat candles. Andreas sets the mood... LOL Well mine just looks like some ad for candles then. I might break the rules and post two Ha!! I think candles are real invigorating.

Wow! I LOVE candles and there are some beautiful ones here! Very creative you guys!! I have actually never tried to take a picture of a candle before. I might have to do it in the daylight....my cam doesn't like the dark. :) I will try and see what I come up with....I'm sure it won't be anywhere near as good as all the ones here though. ;)

ya'all have such wonderful images!!! i've enjoyed looking at them!! something about candlelight that just relaxes me so. guess everyone's like that. here's one i did quite awhile back. i caught the flames the way i wanted but wasn't happy with the image overall. i would have liked to have taken some more candle pictures last night but i was just too tired. well...gotta get dressed and ready for work this morning. talk to you folks later. dunno what's happening with the hurricane stuff, but Brenda, Kort...be safe.
