Subject: Clothes for Irina

Irina looks /awesome/. I want her for my collection! But, I don't want her naked. :/ Anyone heard any rumors about her being added to Wardrobe Wizard, or anything? I think if she were, it'd be the drop in the bucket I was holding out on to buy her AND WW. heh

Irina is a Stephanie Petite morph. Unless the Black Eyes cause some sort of problem, she should already work in Wardrobe Wizard. Mask-da has several Irina-compatible casual clothing outfits in the Marketplace, by the way.

Oh, will she? I was thinking that since she's a custom morph, s3p conforming clothes wouldn't work. Dynamic clothes would, in theory, but I don't know - the only experience I've had is with V3, and even trying to fit conforming clothes to standard Daz body morphs is a ginormous pain.

Wardrobe Wizard can fit clothing to custom character morphs. I ran a test with one of my character morphs and a polo shirt earlier this month. Step 1: Load the default unmorphed Stephanie Petite into the scene, along with a given clothing item, and let Wardrobe Wizard perform its analysis on the item. Step 2: Replace the default Steph with Irina, then convert the clothing to the morphed figure.

Hah! Sweet, I will try it. (once I get WW ^.^) Thank you!

What about if Irini had some clothes made just for her, could I convert FROM her for another character?

My initial belief was that it could, but after running a couple of tests I must tentatively conclude that it can't. At least, not directly.

It appears that, for the analysis, the clothing item must fit the character's unmorphed state. If the item's geometry is specifically designed to fit Irina's shape, rather than the default Stephanie, it'll remain offset from the default shape after conversion.

You can still do the conversion, but it becomes a two-stage process. Put the Irina clothing on Stephanie Petite and run your analysis as usual, then convert to Stephanie Petite with her Irina morphs set to -1. This should give you a clothing item that can be worn by regular Stephanie. You can then analyse and convert this new item as you would any other Stephanie clothing.
