Subject: Importing 3DS into poser

I've tried importing 3DS files into poser but they dont show up. Also, all the tools become disabled, Im unable to access the menus because all the commands become grey. How can I do this right?

I had the same problem until lately, but managed to get it done a couple of times now, after someone told me to reduce the scale prior to converting. You also need to make sure to have enough RAM available. This thing of switching all the menues to grey happened to me when trying to import rather large files.
