What kinda promos does e-on do for upgrades and when, generally. Also I asked before and asked e-on, but no answer..yet (I hope) about their upgrades. It looks like vue 3 or below has no upgrade options. Anybody know? Thanks.

Oh dear ! Vue 3 is so old! Maybe there were upgrade options from Vue 3 4 years ago, when Vue 4 appeared. But now? Please remember that Vue 3 was available for free with some computer newspapers - so I won't expect any price reduction for Vue 5 just because I have a free Vue 3. Does it make sense?

I would simply go to e-on's site and ask at sales support. They know best!

Well they haven't answered so maybe I will go check. Some companies are better about upgrade costs and options...looks like w/ vue you are better off w/ infinite since the others are so limited in export especially, but they only seem to knock off about $100 dollars on most upgrades. Looks like the pro studio won't even let you export 3d(am I wrong). Upgrades just don't look too cost effective. Adobe and macromedia, for example let you upgrade with older products. I honestly think if you buy a company's product only 2 versions ago...it should matter. I don't have 3, but that is only 2 versions behind so that is why I asked. Be nice if money didn't matter.:D So no idea when new versions come out,huh?

yeah it wast free as you had to pay the mag like 20 dollar. also people who bought it full prize are left out now. so asking for a upgrade deal even for 3 makes sence. mr crazyrobert.
