Just started a new model and it is gettign to be interesting so I thought I woudl post a WIP here. I am plannin gon doing a scene with it in markings for the Spanish civil war. Have a small building made for it too. Have plans will they be realised? Also do the peashooter up in the same kind of markings. (although there was only one of them) Take a few days to get everything else done.

Seen it..good work. There's a guy in the Galleries (not Bryce..2d I think) who must makes reference pic after reference pic of every possible Airplane from WWI to about the Korean War. I had a thought looking at your last pic; was there a Mig 1, and what did it look like? There were 2 B1's in aviation history, one was a biplane, the other was just expensive..;)

I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit

I know who you are talkign about right now I can't recall the handle. Need mor ethan that to go on. Ths is the site I go to for a lot of different paint schemes. The I-15 has a lot available from Spanish to Russian to Chinese so that is one of the things I like. Still have work to do on the scene. Lots of nice paint schemes for the peashooter here. (that means you UV Dan) Still trying to set up the scnes and do apint at the same time. The model weighs in at 120K poly. If you are familiar with Wings you will know how speedy it gets with a poly count like that.

They open up in a new window when you click on them. I guess if you have no pop ups selected then you might nto get them to come up but I do have a pop up blocker so I don't think that is the case. Right now I am making a first final image (I plan on making another image with the model)This one is set in Spain with Spanish civil war markings (republicans) Trying to get the scenery to look liek a spaghetti western.

UV dan that site is not working now for me either. (It was working Friday) I have a number of different paint schemes for the peashooter here if you need them. American Chinese Spanish and Phillipines and Honduras. (PM me) Anyways I finished up the I-15 and painted it up in Spanish colors. Did a sort of vintage color picture look on the render you can see it here.

I find a lot of plastic modeling sites and RC modeling sites helpful.

Speaking of UV this one was a bear to UV map. The fusalage and both the wings and the horizontal stab are one piece. I coudl use a few more things in the picture but I only have 256 meg I need more ram so those things are considered too. (the plane in its current form is 114Kpolygons so Well do mor ewith it later did soe fine tuning on the UV map and doing another paint scheme now.
