Hey, is there any other program that can make posable figures compatible with Poser4 other than Poser Pro-Pack? Also, how is it possible to create your own morphs?! Thanks for your help

The process is explained in the Poser 4 manual. What it amounts to is that you need a final figure or prop in .OBJ format, you build a hierarchy file for it, then tweak joint settings. Of course, it's more work than that, but... Morph targets are easier. For example, I recently built a dresser prop in 3D Studio, that had a couple of drawers. I wanted the drawers to open in close in Poser, so I needed two morph targets -- TopOpen, and BottomOpen. I created the mesh in 3d studio with the drawers closed, made three groups (one for the dresser, one each for the drawers), saved it as .3ds, then used 3DExploration to turn the .3ds into an .OBJ with a .MTL file (I find 3DE to be the most reliable converter). I imported that .OBJ into Poser as a prop. IT WAS HUGE, BUT I DIDN'T SCALE IT...yet. I then went back to 3d studio, and modified the mesh so that the top drawer was fully open (topopen.3ds) and that the bottom drawer was fully open (bottomopen.3ds). Each of these was saved, then converted to .OBJ. These became morph targets. I double clicked on the HUGE prop in Poser, and added topopen.obj and bottomopen.obj as morph targets. Voila! I now had a city-block sized dresser with opening and closing drawers (two new dials). A simple scale operation in Poser at the end of the whole process made everything fine. There's a little bit of work, tweaking, and experimentation that YOU will need to do, but read the manual and play around. Good luck! --Scharmers
