I came to try to solve a issue, but with no prevail. What is the purpose of AO if we can not use it with Raytrace?

Showing examples: Pic (I made this mountain in Wings3D. Used cloud nod in material room for texturing mountain.

Next..now with AO unchecked, Raytrace on. Still working on mountain. Half done. Having little problems. I will be adding a house on the mountain. And eventually the house will have glass windows.

Increase the AO bias.

I was having the same problem. Increasing the AO bias seems to be the answer.

Yeah, it does work. Although I changed the value to 1.000. And it worked. I feel that is way to high. Will adjust to a reasonable value. Does great. Now am able to use AO and RayTrace together. :-)

Here is RayTrace and AO. AO bias at 5.0 Can see the dots still there, but very, very little. So, I am leaving it at 1.0 for best results. Thanks stewer.. :-)
