Subject: New Version of Miki? Feeling Ripped Off...

I bought the American version of Miki, which frankly, was fairly limited. Now they're offering this one, for $50, but it comes with, what appear to be, really nice clothing figures. Are these clothes available somewhere separately? Is there some kind of deal for people who bought the far inferior 1020 pack (okay the bike is nice, but the pack is a lot less useful)? If anyone has any insight into this, that'd be great...

Okay I'm an idiot... I just saw the link... damn my color blindness...

Thanks for finding yet another thing I "have to" buy. I wish the morphs (head and body) for either her or Jessi were better. I've purchased the sets that have been available so far and been unimpressed. That's what's really keeping me from doing much with Miki - her facial expressions are the best of any character I've used so far. I guess we'll know Miki is "big time" when Wyrmaster and/or William The Bloody put out one of their special magnet sets for her. I'll also be $X poorer at that time. Unzipped

Some morphs for MIKI are already available here in the free stuff, more are ready but due to bandwidth I have to post them one by one. To overcome this I am setting up now my own HP for these downloads. Be patient.

There're some decent morphs for Miki over at RDNA. Nothing as extensive as the Unimesh morphs, but a good start...

Face Room will handle head morphs at least. You could try switching off all but her head, neck and eyes and parenting that to a morphed V3 or SP3 body if you're that keen on different body shapes.

Interesting, can't seem to open CP site - is everyone going and checking out the new pack?

They seem to be having problems right now with the site.

$12.99 for the clothing. I've really slowed down on a lot of this stuff. And yes onimusha I think they could have done a better deal for us. Not just grabbing stuff because it's on sale now. And although Wyrmaster does some nice morphs I get tired of the big breasted warrioress look which is all he seems to do, so I will pass on that as well if he does it. Can't say I like the way he sold his stuff, dropped out then came back and basically resold the old stuff with a few changes. Don't mind me if I sound grouchy, I nearly died this week and I'm still reeling from it a bit. Marque

Hmmm, I seem to have touched a nerve. I have purchased the morph sets for both Jessi and Miki from RDNA - and like I said I'm not impressed. The lack of detail bugs me, there really isn't much variation between morphs (some of the full body morphs I can barely tell a difference between once applied, similarly with many of the nose morphs for instance), some morphs don't seem to do anything very useful or ascetically pleasing and it seems like a few obvious morphs are missing. I was a bit leary of them due to how soon after the release of the figures they arrived, and I think they might suffer from being somewhat rushed. No personal offense intended to Colm, it's a tough job and I do appreciate the effort. I've used the face room on both to the extent that I now realize dial twiddling in the face room is a waste of time unless you're trying to create an alien/fishwoman head (well even more alien than default in Jessi's case). And I don't want to do photo mapping. I've downloaded some of your body morphs Jules, they look useful, sorry if I implied they weren't good, I was only targeting the pay for stuff, I never badmouth freebies. I just haven't had a chance to use them yet. Are you planning on making a muscle girl morph for Miki or Jessi like you did Vicki? That would be outstanding. The thing I like about Wyrmasters magnet systems is they affect the figure and the clothing together, it makes life MUCH easier. I also like the included movement and size presets - they don't have to be beachball sized if you don't want them to be. Also I've found they're better than morphs at controlling/shaping some areas on figures - particularly the hips. I hope he puts out a couple of $5 sets for Miki and Jessi. I almost caved and bought the fantasy art packages he's got at RDNA just to get a set of magnets for Jessi, but even at 50% off right now the cost is just too high. Sorry you almost died this week Marque - I hope you feel better. Unzipped

Yup, thank God my husband was there and saw me falling down, he did the heimlich and got me breathing again but it scared the hell out of me. I'm a nurse and know how to do it to myself but for some reason I hesitated until it was almost too late. Makes you think though. Marque
