Great start. :) Although i would personally move everything somewhat to the left. First of all, you would have more free space for the background city, and second you would get rid of some of that large empty wall on the left.

I would put people on the round part of the walk way as if they were viewing the vast city. you were probably gonna do that anyway, but I thougt I would mention it. This will be fun watching it develope.Cooool
