Subject: Can someone fix the E-mail bots options

Natolii ( ) posted Tue, 08 November 2005 at 6:24 AM · edited Sun, 02 February 2025 at 6:53 AM

Here's the problem... I may a couple of posts in the Copyright forum and turned off the e-mail notifications each time... The notifications still came through... Can someone please fix this and put an opt-out option in the profiles? This is annoying.

Natolii, i just turn all ebots back. blacklisted ebot@renderosity.com it's a spamming email address. i never want an ebot message.

Just dont reply to the e-bot, or visit that topic again and the e-bot for that message will stop. Only when you re-enter the thread does it trigger a new e-bot. Tom

BTW..this happens even if you do not uncheck the "Email me when someone replies" box. Just simply don't reply. Tom

It's happening even when I don't visit the topic Hakwfyr... I have another Notification on the topic now... And it should not re-trigger. Renderosity needs to fix this spam issue.

Hmm...not sure what to tell you. It works for me if I just don't re-enter the thread. Good luck Tom
