Subject: WW question - Okay to post here?

I'm not sure if it is okay to post this here. If not, just let me know or move it ;-) Is it possible to convert an outfit that fits a morphed figure to make it fit another morphed figure AND be able to conform it and have it stay with the figure when you pose it? (Whew!) I'm trying to convert the Irina: Adventuress for Irina-morphed Steph Petite and make it fit a Penelope morphed Krystal. So far I was able to convert it, and make it "fit" in the default pose. This is without any conforming, however, because when I try to conform, it no longer stays in place and fits. Also, if I try to pose Penelope/Krystal, the clothes do not stay with her. Is it possible to make this work...did I miss something?

Give this a try: Load default Krystal then the Adventeress outfit. Convert From Figure. Delete default Krystal and load the morphed version. Note: this will only work if the morphed version obj is the same name as the default Krystal. If it isn't, copy the morphed obj to a new folder and rename it to the default Krystal then edit the cr2 to point to it. Now you should be able to Convert To Figure, conform and cleanup.

I must remember to remember what it was I had to remember.

A piece of cake if you have Wardrobe Wizard.

Acadia: Yes, that is what I am using. Nickedshield: I'm not sure I understand...should I load the original Adventuress outfit? Wouldn't I have to load it onto Irina and then "convert from figure"? or are you saying to load the one I already converted to fit the morphed Krystal but can't get to conform?

Analyze the basic outfit on the basic figure. Then load the figure you want it to fit, morph it up, and then do the "convert to", and it will fit the morphed figure.

Acadia bet me to it. The method I was talking about assumed you had a saved morphed figure. When you do that there is a good possibility of creating a new obj file.

I tried doing that, but what happens is once it converts, and it looks good when the figure is in the default pose. When I try to conform the clothing, so that if I pose the figure it will stay with the figure, the clothes then go all wonky. Here's the problem (I think) Irina is a morphed character for Steph Petite. Irina: Adventuress is clothing that is made specifically for the Irina morphed Steph Petite. There is a character called Penelope, which is a morphed character for Krystal. What I'm wanting to do is take the Adventuress outfit (which is made to fit a morphed figure) and covert it to fit another morphed figure. It doesn't seem to work doing it the conventional way.

Sounds like the JPs need to be adjusted. Hop over to PhilC's site and post some sample pictures. He'll help you out. WW also included movies that explain how to adjust the joint parameters. bB
