Subject: Hello, oh, hello, STUPID Poser 6 SR2 !!! :(

Hi folks I run Poser6-SR2.exe. I have both Poser5 and 6 in the folder Curious Labs (c:archivos de programacurious labsposer 5 and c:archivos de programacurious labsposer 6). Well, the CLEVER-OH-SO-CLEVER-INSTALLER starts to say: "I can't find poser (in default P5 location!!!), blahblah, you need to locate it manually". I select c:archivos de programacurious labsposer 6. And the stupid guy says "theres no Poser there, install unsuccessful, hurrah and bye bye" Must I cry? Must I scream? Must I blaspheme?

Darling Casette.. CL has allready pinpointed your problem, and there's an easy solution to it ;o)

Reinstall SR1, THEN install SR2.

Try it. I'll bet it will solve your problem, ma'am ;o)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

I cant believe it. How could I forget this easy tip in a Windows World? Re-install a service pack to install an upper service pack. Of course!!! (These Romans Are Crazy, My Dear Obelix) Ill try it. Thanks, Mr. Ruchmann XD

Well, by the moment my Poser6 (with the e-frontier logo, mwhahaha) opens all fine... I think now I can buy my t-shirt "I SURVIVED P6 SR2 INSTALLATION" ROFL

So did I, Casette ! In my case, I did clean install on separate hard drive, did contents update, did SR1 update, did SR2 update, then copied over to the actual working P6 copy on my usual hard drive (I have 2 hard disks on my one PC). No problems so far ( fingers crossed ). ( Of course, just trying to run the SR2 installer on my Poser 6 in the non-default location I have put it in, doesn't work. I get exactly your first problem. )
