Subject: Poser for the not so wealthy

For a long time I have been worried that so much Poser art seems to depend upon the creator buying the latest characters/textures; most of us cannot just spend when we want to. Then I came across face_off's Unimesh Realism kit and it opens up a whole new set of opportunities. Armed with it plus V3/S3/M2 characters and their face and body morphs, you can now create lots of different characters with realistic skin textures. Thanks to Paul Kinnane for creating such a wonderful utility.

But isn't buying the unimesh realism kit also buying the latest greatest for your renders? Seems 1/2 a dozen of 1, 1/2 dozen of the other to me.

Way too many people take way too many things way too seriously.

I love the Face_Off kits. In addition, I would say Wardrobe Wizard also gives you an opportunity to expand your Poser collection for less cost. With it, you can make clothing from one character fit another, without the work involved of say Clothing Converter. Many figures, and all of the most popular are supported. It's great when you can share that dress for Vicky with Jessi, Judy, or even James, if you are into that sort of thing ;-)

Oh great, barrowlass. So to use it, I have to buy a sword? M

barrowlass ( ) posted Sun, 13 November 2005 at 11:00 AM

lol @ mickmca. Couldn't resist doing that - that's about the extent of my poser output just now! I'm trying to suss out how to make textures and that's taking a lot of time ;-)
