Subject: MAKING new morphs for...

Vickie and/or Mike that won't work on Polly and/or Bobby: One thing I've figured out with them- The initial morphs of Vickie and Mike that Polly, Paul and Bobby use from the original CR2's is more of a parameters morphing. The "fan made" morphs are of a geometry base. What that means is if you make a new morph for Vickie using Vickies head, then the morph will line up to where VICKIES head is supposed to be, not Pollys. Pollys sits where Posettes head would normally be, not Vickies, ie Polly is shorter than Vickie. You can do one of two things to fix that- Bring Pollys head into your modeler and align the geometry morph where Pollys head is, OR do the initial morph on Pollys head to start with. If you'd like, you can send me the morphs for Vickie and/or Mike you are trying to apply to Polly and/or Bobby and I will align them for you. Free.

Do you have any morphs for Mike that you'd be willing to post? Seems to be very slim pickings for facial morphs for the dude other than what he came with. Dave

Polyette and Bobby are terrific. Any chance you will post morph targets that users have made for them at your site? Although, then you will probably end up having Michael users asking you to convert Bobby's for use on Michael...

WarriorDL, I haven't really checked this out to a great extent, but I have used MorphManager 4.0 to transfer head morphs for Poly and they seem to work okay. Later...

Hdrider, I was just about to say something on that L Thanks! gryffnn, shoot me for being an idiot here L See, the original morphs on Polly were done in Morph Manager, ie transferred from the CR2 of Vickies to Pollys. Therefore, apply your morphs to VICKIE first, save the CR2 then transfer them to Polly via the Morph Manager. I always keep a blank Vickie CR2 around (one for Mike too) so the morphs don't build up too high in one CR2 and it's easier for doing the above. As for morphs I have for Vickie and/or Mike- I have nadda... :o(

In other words: Never apply a Vickie (or Mike) morph directly to Polly (or Bobby) via Morph Import in Poser. Use Morph Manager instead to transfer from Vickie (or Mike) to Polly (or Bobby).

Hello, Yes, that's what I do. If I apply the morphs directly, Poly's eyballs fly up in the air. MorphManager 4 seems to work just fine..so far. Later...

Thanks for the info. Poly's looking forward to traveling again this weekend - back to the PC for a hot date with Morph Manager. Kind of like electronic cosmetic surgery - altho our girl is not really the vain type. And yes, it's a shame there aren't more MTs for Michael that Bobby can use. If Vicky's work for Poly, I'll check out some of the Michael packets for sale, seem to remember a few have morphs, too. Maybe the one that also has a long hair MT for Mike's wedge cut? What we need is for DAZ to offer a little pack of high-quality, feature-by-feature MTs to help us change that Michael-clone look! Still wonder what they did to piss off the esteemed Professor Traveler on the subject of Millenium morphs?

Me hassa no idea what da Daz do to upset Traveller...

And now we're left to fend for ourselves on Michael. Dismal! Dave
