Hi All, Planning on getting a new P4 computer & was wondering if anyone has found problems with Poser4, 3D Studio Max3 or Bryce4 running on Windows New Millennium? Also, have Voluptuous Vicky & hear there may be problems... anyone use her on Windows NM? Thanks NW316

Gack, its 95/98 by another name, still stinks of crash;-). Get one with 500+ MB RAM and Win2k, my advice. If you have to drop mhz for RAM to keep under budget, do it (FWIW, Poser+Max-which is what using the PP importer is to the system- uses ~300-400MB with moderatly (10-20MB scene files). Don't fall for the RAMBUS jive, either, stick with PC133. YMMV

I'm using Win2K, and that works fine with Max and Poser. I've got a Dual 800 w/1M ram. On the hard renders, Max sucks up both CPU, but like Digit8r says, most scenes only seem to use high 300K ram.
