mmm, a challenge. well you could render the scene on the left without the shadow (just the light) then do a render with the light and no shadow. Then paste it using the "overlay" option in photoshop and delete what u dont want. Might be easier to "cut and paste" the shadow and move it where u want it. just a thought!
