Set up some lighting around this Japanese figure and went for out of camera silouhette.

Isnt it handy how you can just add it yourself...can ya imagine the mahem if we all could? LOL. Awesome silhouette Doug!!!! Thumb looks great too. #;O)

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?

Pee Wee.....that is the real purpose of this . To get a silouhette taken from your camera....not make it a silouhette from PS. LOL Thanks everyone.

BTW, your gallery post from today would make another great sil. shot Doug, but I'm sure you thought of that... ;o]

Thanks Kort...Yeah I had it all ready for the challenge, but wanted to try a set up instead. Sometimes I wish we had more challenge images, but the pges get so big then. Danielle....all you need is a few flashlights set up and find something you like around the house. You guys are all excellent. I wish I had more time for comments on your galleries. Work is taking that time for the next 2 weeks

Nicely done Doug!!!I like the little bit of color the leaf provides and how you can just barely see her face.Very impressive compo, too. The eyes are especially striking.Totally makes the pic IMHO.Did you do that in PS?

it seems to be a doll in the dark - a still character that seems alive because of the little hint of light from eyes! well done, although I would've put the character in the golden third vertical area from the left side of the scene - but I'm too pretentious, so do not "hear" my words! Have a great day!

cool work

what you see is not what you know; it in your face

DJB ( ) posted Fri, 18 November 2005 at 7:56 PM

Marlene...no this is how it came out from the camera. I did use a tiny bit of desaturation because the leaf was a bit too orange. Thanks
