Just had an extremely aggravating experience with carrara. I had have been working on a ninja model for a few weeks. Tonite i decided to do some more work on it. so anyways, im making a vertex model, I subdivide it, then save the file. I go into the placement room, examine it and decide i shouldn't sub it just yet so i undo a few times. Then, when i try to undo the sub, says "error occured will trying to complete operation" and the model is all chopped up and wierd looking. So i close that file w/o saving and open the previous save and carrara crashes while im loading it! so now i cant open the file at all! all that work i did is lost. It was a really great model too :( . this shit happen to anyone else? Izuel

Izuel - have you downloaded the patch from www.eovia.com? I believe it's supposed to fix some of the errors. I know this doesn't help you now, but maybe in the future =) The only time that I have ever received an Unknown Error is in the render room. And I haven't gotten any since I patched it. Sorry about you losing your model! I'm just starting with vertex modeling and I know what a pain it can be, you might want to try rebooting and then opening Carrara again. Well, good luck to you!
