Subject: Recommendations: (1) Clothing Converter, and (2) Eye Prop

I'm shopping for a couple of items and hoped some might make recommendations or share experiences prior to my purchase: (1) looking for an effective Clothing Conversion utility that will allow me to swap outfits between figures (posette, dork, V1-3, M1-3, MillKids, Steph/SP3, David, etc.) AND fit clothing to character-specific body morphs. I know DAZ has its Clothing Converter, and there's The Tailor and Phil C's Wardrobe Wizard...probably others too! Which do y'all like/dislike? (2) also looking for a versitile Eye Prop for maximum eye pop! I know of RDNA's Eyez and Blackhearted's Blackeyes...any recommendations? Other options you like? I will, of course, be scrutinizing promo pics, but thought your collective user-experience might be just as (if not more) illuminating. Thanks for any comments, michael

On the clothes conversion, I own all three but not an expert by any means. Tailor does not work on P6, wonder if they're ever going to get around to fixing it. Clothes Converter is actually more of a simplified modeling program, but it's automatic features in the new version work really well on Unimesh figures, which I mainly use. It also transfers clothing morphs easily. Wardrobe Wizard will convert about anything to anything, but I've never got the hang of transfering clothes morphs with it. All will convert clothes to morphed characters if you're using Poser 5. IMO, Clothes Converter and Wardrobe Wizard are the most useful utilities, with Clothes Converter being the most useful for unimesh, and WW for being the most rounded.

bevans84 - There is an update to 1.6 that allows The Tailor to work with Poser 6. I want the Clothing Convertor to transfer the Aiko/Hiro bodysuites to the other Unimesh characters (Yeah. $40 just to do a few conversions.) I'd like to get the Wardrobe Wizard for everything else. WW doesn't handle gloves (and IIRC some footware, hence the need for the Clothing Convertor). I have Blackhearted Eyes and I like em.

Well, so there is an update. :) Unfortunately it looks like I'm going to have to pay Daz and the programmer in order to use something I've already purchased. Thanks, but I'll pass. Don't get me wrong, I'm semi-retired at 56 and comfortable, and I don't mind spending money. My wife and daughter are a lot better at it than I am, but I do OK. I just don't like throwing good after bad.

I was kind of angry too that I would have to pay for the next update to the tailor in order to use it with poser 6. I think I'll save my money and get the wardrobe wizard.
