GREAT idea for a Simon Carlos! I love your POV and the selective coloring. A high impact image. Here's one - my son's Kindergarten (school) just after class has started. Hey, since I went first last time, I pass that honor on to the next poster.

I realized that we were a day early, but I figured what the heck and joined in the fun. I can never resist a Simon! Sorry if I contributed to some of you feeling rushed with the last one. Lovely childhood themed images. -That colorful climbing tower looks like a blast Michel! -Your old carousel horse image is done to perfection Sheila, that brings back memories! :) -Very graphic and cool looking jungle jim image Doug...he sure looks WAY up there. -Climbing trees certainly was something most of us only did in childhood Modesty. Great shot. Too bad I missed the other one, dang TOS... :/

That is a great idea for an image Carl. I was thinking of doing that too, but your grandmother's house is more "grandparenty" than the one I was considering using. :)

Geesh Brian, you've turned the world upside down! But you are right about one thing, Cyn's image does deserve to be shown in a place more worthy than the forum. Great job both of you! =]

When I was a kid I enjoyed building spaceships, magic, illusions, cameras, electronic kits, model rockets, video games, good stories, and always doodling/art. I remember reading how to make this flying saucer from a trick photography book I once had. It is a piece of black paper taped on my old bedroom window.

cynlee ( ) posted Tue, 22 November 2005 at 10:50 PM

oh well thanks Tedz, Kort, it's really no more then any other.. & no i can't imagine that, lol... now get out of that cellar before you miss coolj's spaceship!

Here's my late contribution, an old shot of mine, re-worked! Cool shots all and great idea Carlos!

TwoPynts ( ) posted Wed, 23 November 2005 at 7:49 AM

That is a fun image Jeff, retro AND filled with the fantasy of a child's mind. I like your reworked image too Pascalou...very nostalgic and almost sad. I get the impression of childhood past by, rather than a glimpse back at it. Well done. :)

Ah yes! I do agree with u Kortalouche, I too find that image quite sad....it says loniless to me.... Couldn't have a "glimpse back" since I don't remember my childhood...so...I just shot what I thought should be an image of childhood when I took that shot. ;)

The kids at my son's graduation last night :0)) Yes, graduation from Gr0. He's out of pre-primary now going onto primary. They're such a lovely group of friends that I simply had to capture them (of course having Simon Says in mind *grin*)
