I made these DS figures via PPP. They are Poser ready and you can import the DS BVH for their use right in PPP,and MAx and LW and C4D..

Do you mean you brought the stock dancer figures from Dance Studio into the ProPack's Setup Room and made them into posable figures that can be animated in Poser (and thus LW or Max), and of course, BVH exported from Dance Studio??? Cool!

When you find out if it's ok to share let us we'll be waiting! They look too cool! Marque

perfectly xorrect, all figures, enviroment and poses are poser pro pack ready. wait for my free ds figures when I am allowed to do so.

nitreug ( ) posted Fri, 09 March 2001 at 7:35 PM

Perfect, I did not that I can use the DS figures in PPP. I will try it over the week-end.

I was thinking along the same lines as you. I haven't gotten around to working on it yet. If you use Mover, you could distribute them to people that have Dance Studio. (Like me)

nitreug ( ) posted Fri, 09 March 2001 at 10:55 PM

Poserpro: How did you extract the figures from the CD? I did a search on *.CR2 but cannot find them. How did you move them from DS to PPP?

wyrwulf ( ) posted Fri, 09 March 2001 at 11:03 PM

I don't think you can get them off the CD. With a default installation, their path is C:Program FilesMetaCreationsDance StudioModels It takes a bit to figure out what is what. There are also three versions with different resolutions.

I like, I like.

  1. I use the OBJ and BMP 2. C : Dance Studio... custom path 3. Hi resolution figures 4. You can do it own your own, I can't spread the content due to copyright. If you own PPP, I think you can do it yor way. But I assume I can send the CRZ, if you need, mail me julien@arrowweb.com Bottomline, you must own DS and PPP.

wyrwulf ( ) posted Sat, 10 March 2001 at 5:19 AM

I wasn't thinking right with my post of using Mover. All you would need to distribute is the Cr2 if you didn't remap the OBJ. Turning them into Poser characters doesn't really require the Pro Pack, but it makes it a lot easier.

milamber42 ( ) posted Sat, 10 March 2001 at 9:26 AM

How about posting the CR2s-CRZs to free stuff?

Zed1 ( ) posted Sat, 10 March 2001 at 7:23 PM

Yep, posting the CR2s to free stuff would be great!

wyrwulf ( ) posted Sat, 10 March 2001 at 7:37 PM

Poserpro sent the Cr2s to me. They won't work without his cut up meshes. The OBJs would have to be encoded with PCF to distribute. Thanks for sending them to me, Poserpro.

Zed1 ( ) posted Mon, 12 March 2001 at 2:25 PM

Wyrwulf, would you like to encode and post the dance studio stuff? You could save a couple of hours of work for everyone of us.

wyrwulf ( ) posted Mon, 12 March 2001 at 2:59 PM

PoserPro only sent me the Cr2s. I don't have PPP, and I haven't got much experience with setting up characters yet.

poserpro ( ) posted Mon, 12 March 2001 at 3:38 PM

zed, if you like to have the ds stuff, mail me for the cr2s. cheers
