Great way to impart emotion, a very good scene, imo! ;o) But, as far as size limit goes; I would say that your size of 474Kb, for a 720x540 image is high on the quality scale. In fact, I see can it was saved at 99-100% compression quality. And, that you are using Photoshop CS to save the .jpg If you use Photoshop, use the "save for web" option, or in my case I just use another program to save all my images as jpg's, FAR more control, I can easily get your image under 200kb for the forum, and at 1:1, it would be hard to spot any artifacts.
