Subject: Looking for free rooms or interior environments

Cage ( ) posted Wed, 23 November 2005 at 11:03 PM · edited Fri, 17 January 2025 at 5:22 PM

I've been going through my downloads, and I find that I have far fewer interior environments than I had thought. I have a few by X2000, a nice one by Have, and a couple of others whose creators I don't know. I'm sure I've seen more, however. I know there are more rooms out there for download. I have no idea why I didn't download them when I saw them. Now I have no idea where to look for the things I've seen in the past. My internet links, like my download archives, are in a terrible state of disarray. :( Does anyone have any links to good sites and resources that they can share? Please oh please? :)

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking.  He apologizes for this.  He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below.  His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.

Sam's 3D and Poserworld have free rooms too. But you have to be a member at Poserworld. Worth every penny, by the way.Gerald Day also has some.

Just FYI, I have a some interior sets that aren't on my site at the moment (I don't have enough MB to fit them all at once). But I shuffle things around every now and then, and I'm planning another site revision real soon, so keep watching;)

OMG!!!!!! Sharen, I'm sorry, I completely forgot that in addition to all the great props and things at your site, that you also have excellent interiors too.

dutchcreator has posted a few times about his (her?) site. They are looking for people who want to post their free items there. So if you need hosting space for free items, you should contact dutchcreator. http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=2472928

There's a bedroom available as a freebie from DAZ 3D, plus assorted bits and pieces for other settings, useful samples of the work of some very talented people. Stonemason's Cargo Bay Doors, for instance, give you a really big sci-fi interior, though it is more like a stage set than a complete room.
