Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 12 9:36 pm)
Hi, I am Syyd's husband and I will try to give you as unbiased opinion as possible. IMHO... I think the hair looks pretty good close up. Although, the way that the original 'Wedge Cut' is made has left us all with limitations. The original mesh has no real inside base. The entire thing is made up of strands that are individually trans mapped on one map. I would say that the only down side is that the hair over the shoulders goes a little into the shoulders and may require a small bit of post work. The morphs that are included enable length, and back movement from side to side. I really like it and the general feeling from the people who have used it, is they are happy with it. The main thing to remember is, it is part of a package. The main part is the texture. Which in my opinion is the best texture for a Poser model I have ever seen, and I have been using them since Poser3 was released. The package also come with 10 really fantastic poses. Great spotlight setups, 10 individual facial characters as face files (not smiles and angry and the like but different characters). I hope this helps in some way... Colm...

Both the texture, the hair, in fact everything that comes with this package is worth the money! This site uses cookies to deliver the best experience. I'm considering buying Syyd's Adam figure. I've admired her work and am sure the texture maps are superior. But what I'd buy it for are the morphs for Michael's Wedge Cut hair. The images look great, but I'm wondering if there are enough polygons in the original model to look smooth close-up when enlongated like that, or is it best used for more distant shots? Any feedback from someone who's used it would be greatly appreciated.
