Just a little play with lights, I thought it looked rather nice so I thought I'd show you guys...

Same thing with edge softness on all the lights, plus rendered at Premium with soft shadows enabled...

The thing is, I can't tell the difference... Is there any difference, can you tell?

i think you can tell the difference in the softness of the green light under the sphere, its quite pronounced.Thats a nice effect.. what was the texture on the sphere? and how reflective?

The sphere is just your basic brushed silver from the metals presets, as is the ground plane. Sorry, I'll have to try water another time Bryster. (Lol, water indeed, what do you think this is, S.O.W. week?) I started this with the basic grey and normal sun setting, then I turned the sun and atmosphere off and used the silver to add reflections to this. Dunno if it'll go anywhere, I just thought it was rather pretty, and wanted to ask about the difference between premium and not premium.
