Interesting, but why not streamline the "wheel wells" into more of a jet engine shape, since it has no wheels?

I did wonder about the wheel arches, but if I too them away it wouldn't look like a beetle :) John

That's why I said you should streamline them to make thmem practical to have on the model... something like th eengine pods on the Naboo Fighter from Star Wars maybe?

Think I'm going to start again to be honest :) I was just messing about learning a few modelling techniques so it's no big deal. John ;)

Sometimes if you remodel something you actually come out with a better model. Only a few tips I can give you on this one... Smooth shift the headlight houseings a little more, for a smoother edge on them. You need a better defined line on the rear bumper, where it meets the body. If memory serves, of a volkswagen, the front windshield doesn't flare outward atr the top.. if anything, it might be wider at the bottom. (That might be an artistic design you did though.) Get a picture of an actual volksgaen, or better yet a ot wheels car or ty of one as a reference. You'll be amazed at the little details you'll discover that your mind's eye did not pick up on. Can't wait to see version II!
