I was checking in some DVD's today at work when I came across something that caught my eye. I noticed the new DVD by prog metal band Fates Warning, Live in Athens. I looked at the cover for a moment and noticed the sky looked kind of familiar, Brycean in fact. Upon closer examination, I'm pretty sure that the cover, combined with Photoshop, of course, was created with our beloved Bryce. Any thought's to the contrary?

the sky is one of the bryce defaults, so's the water. that's for sure. i'd need a higher res image of the rest to be sure. drac

I believe the rocks are just some standard rocks with textures. The far background is a hill or mountain. There are some ruins of some sort to the left and the temple to the right reminds me of images/models I saw in the Bryce 4 users guide. So, who knows, probably some custom modelling they did. or perhaps bits and pieces put together from DAZ and other sources. In any case, the image on the DVD is pretty small as well, but, pretty cool to see Bryce in the real world. I believe a couple years ago a band on the Magna Carta label used some Bryce work as well.

He uses Bryce...The water in one of his pics in the Gallery is the Water texture "Turbulence" just tweaked. Very nice work.
