The SQL errors should now be resolved. mejed, I was able to get to your gallery without any problems. If you continue to have problems please let me know. Clint

Here too gallery is almost not accessible. It must be a hardware failure in the servers. I don't agree about the slowliness, Renderosity has never been faster for me as it is these days and I've been really enjoying it. This is a problem of the last hours only.

Orio ( ) posted Thu, 01 December 2005 at 6:09 PM

Clint now I can access my gallery's main page but if I try to open one picture I still get timed out. This is what I receive: Server error! The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Error message: Premature end of script headers: easesvr We are aware of a bug which can cause file upload processes to fail with this Internal Server Error message. We are working toward a long term solution, but the short term fix is often to re-size/re-crop the image slightly, save for web and re-upload to the site. The weird thing about this is that after it cleared up and I could reach the site again I had to re-log into the site and when I did so the 3 im's I had were gone.

Hi Orio, Thanks for the info. I jinxed it. :( I'm getting the SQL errors once again and very slow page loads. Its actually not a HW problem but a record locking problem on the DB server. Its being addressed. Sorry for the problems. Clint

Ignore that - stupid me, when I went to log back in I did t with that stupid ID I made once so I could get access to contact Clint when I couldn't get in... I thought I'd left that profile with the default colours, guess not.

At this point I have to ask the question, this "SessSQL: Too many connections" problem has been a problem for quite some time now, (many threads about it over the years) is there anything being done to eradicate the problem? Or is this something thats going to continue to crop up from time to time?

Thanks, its no problem now. Yesterday, I finally got there by going toosity`s hompage, to my homepage, and to my gallery. Kinda like solving a puzzle. LOL. But I made it.

"Too many connections" is typical for badly designed database access. It might be over when 'rosity switches over to Bondware 3.0. I'm fairly sure nobody will invest the time and effort to redesign the core of the current system when it's going to be phased out in the next couple of months. I hope the database access modules in Bondware 3.0 are designed better. We'll see.
