SHADES!!! Sunglasses....or regular glasses...whatever will do i suppose. This Simon should rather had been called: "Show me your lack of imagination"....cause i just couldnt come up with a topic myself. So i ripped this off from the suggestions being posted under listed previous Simons.

But when i went outside to take the shots...i thought i would do a "...show me something winter-ish"...then it occured to me that not all of you are blessed...or cursed...with cold and snow.

Then i thought...hey, what about "...show me your handwriting" cause they say that you can tell so much from a persons handwriting....then i realised that it would be a rather lame theme...even for me, LOL.

So finally i combined all of them and made this collage. These are my beloved Oakleys. Man, i love these. The only sunglasses i ever tried that doesnt darken your view all too much but you can still stare directly into the sun without blinking. These are my 4th pair...i have a stupid habit of breaking them (which aint too economical since they cost a fortune).....my head is probably too big, LOL.

Ooops....i didnt mean to ramble like this...wait a minute..yes i did cause im kinda bored you see. Not much to do other than type type type, LOL.

So come on folks....lets see them glasses 4-eyes! cooldude.gif

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?

I reckon it is safe now ;)

And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to sea in a Sieve.

Okay, 3 posts down, I am safe from the next Simon. =] Great shots, all of you. Andreas, creative work, if not subject matter, and pro results. :) I like those shades Christa, they look a little like mine. 8D Carl, you definitely have that glare down, cool shot. And Richard, very creative and artistic, cudos!!! I don't have time for anything too creative, so here are collaged snapshots. My wife took the photo on the left, and the 2 on the right are by a friend named Ingrid. Fun subject Andreas, I was tempted to do it myself. =^]

Great collage Andreas...adn compliments to Greywulf for that delightful shot Christa. I have so many pairs of shades, because I keep sitting on them when I jump in my vehicle, or lose them.

Neat collage you have there, TwoPynts (I need to learn the names around here or I'll go nuts...lol) :D And I'll tell the Wulf, Doug. It looks like you've managed to resque at least one pair of shades though :D

Your collage isnt too shabby either...i misspelled shabby didnt i? Sigh. LOL @ Doug, yup i have had that happen once or twice myself. Those are pretty classy though. You better hold onto them. #:o)

Cool shades as well. #:o) What can i say Tedz....i honestly dont think a cross-dressing new zealander can look much sexier than that. Margana ( ) posted Fri, 02 December 2005 at 10:11 AM

Hiya Pascalou! One day you are going to have to explain just what is so bad about that whole highlight thing.Sure it can be really awful when it's excessive or really glaring, but honestly I don't think that even remotely applies to your shot.I love what you did and I think it's wonderful and edgy. For the record,in my knowledge of painting, you always have a 'whitest' white and a 'darkest' dark in a successful composition...especially in pastel work...it adds dimension...otherwise it becomes too flat.Just my two cents...MWAH! :^)

Too lazy to look it up! O_o) in that pic, the highlights on the metal frame of the glasses are blown out! yes! Marlenouche sweety, I won't contradict u on this one since I know nothing about painting, but in photography blown out highlights are NEVER cool!! Well, not to me anyway!
