Subject: animation with replicate

I didn't have a problem replicating a small fish, already animated with morphs, but I didn't like all the fish swimming in mirror image. So I duplicated and created individual fish, not many, just 12 or so. I was unable to adjust individual duplications - their individual key frames were connected to the master, even when I promoted them to masters... Any ideas how to duplicate with replications, then adjust individual motion data?

How about promoting the duplicates to masters? I have not tried it, but it should work. Once they are all masters you should be able to adjust the keys on those 12 and then drop them into the replicator. wayne k guam usa

You need to create the 12 or so individualy, THEN replicate into the thousands.

Okay, bluetone, that is what I think I might have to do if I want a pool of fish, all with different movements - make 6 unique motions, then replicate... but I swear at one point - the first try, I was able to use one, animate, replicate, and the adjust all replicated motions... but I was unable to recreate it again. Thanks
