Hi, for me I find it best to unzip or install .exe files to a folder on my desktop first. Then I can make sure that the files are where they should be. After I do that, then I move that runtime folder over to my regular runtime folder. Here is a link that shows you where files go. It's for Poser 5 I believe, but it's the same thing for Poser 6.

I unzip files into a folder in my docs, then drag or copy folders to their respective places in the runtime - ie - geometries>geometries, characters>characters, pose>pose etc. Unfortunately, I've found Daz exe files are terrible at installing sometimes and I have to sort them out after installation tho this doesn't take very long (usually)
My aspiration: to make a decent Poser Render I'm an Oldie, a goldie, but not a miracle worker :-)

I am trying to load a free download file and poser says I should load it manually I tried to zip to poser 6 runtime but it did not work. I guess I will need to unzip it to a folder and then load each file to poser but how do I do this please Thanks Rowlando
