It took me a few weeks to learn the basics of HTML and javascript, but now I managed to write my own site (and thus a site of which I understand the code and one that I can maintain myself). The address is http://www.roobol.be and contains the majority of my recent work. Next step is to enrich the product presentations and architectural visualisations and then I should be ready to lure clients into my trap :-) My old site users.pandora.be/roobol with the Bryce tutorials vanished in smoke during the process, but I'll try to put it back up again this weekend. I will also try to keep both sites up in parallel as long as I don't need the storage space, but please be gentle about occasional hiccups with the pandora site. Oh, and don't go to the contact info page if you have a weak stomach, very large grin......

I love the realism in the textures you use, especially in your buildings. Have you done any tuts on your technique? :) Ang

Thanks for the compliments :-) I'll try to get my tutorial site active again this weekend. In the mean time, laetia is hosting a PDF version hat you can find at http://membres.lycos.fr/saphfire/en/tutorials.html , hope that this helps.

Very nice site, simple and elegant. Congrats. Wish I could achieve that with mine.

You've designed a very functional and good-looking site! I had to check out your galleries because I enjoy your works. I'm glad to hear that your tutorials will be back up, as I enjoyed your previous site as well.

Lovely site. I once used a little webpage maker called 'Cool Page' by 3Dize and it was all drag and drop which made my life very easy and it was free!!. I dont know anything about writing the codes for making webpages in something like Dreamweaver. That goes straight over my head!! You've done a great job, well done

Smile, your dead a long time :)

And thanks again :-) Marc, I don't no anything about Dreamweaver or equivalents either; I just typed the code in a simple text editor and saved in a text format with a .htm extension. Works quite well, too...

One little question.... has your site got enough bandwidth for when I have to download 5000 beers?

Hey, fantastic artwork. I really liked your architectural work! I'll have to look at the rest of the pics later. Congrats on teaching yourself the basics of html. I'm glad to see you learned in notepad, etc. I use Dreamweaver at work a lot and it is great but many people who are not technical make the mistake of relying on the design mode of DW and similar apps and not learning the basics of HTML. It really helps to know what is happening behind the scenes in the html file.
