Subject: Poserworld

I have been having some serious problems with my subscription to Poserworld -- It won't take my code, even though I'm entering EXACTLY what lost password thing says -- but repeated efforts to contact the folks in charge have met with no response. I understand the guy who runs it hangs out here. Do you know how to contact him? I just bought a new subscription, and still no luck.

Usually Steve is here often. I hope he'll pop in soon :o) It's actually Allen who maintains the prescreption part of it AFAIK, but I guess Steve can contact him faster. Bear in mind though that Steve is in the UK and it's 1AM there now...

Great! Do you know his username, by any chance? I have sent several messages to Allen with no response.

Never mind! I understand there's a good reason for this that's beyond their control. I hope they get things back on an even keel soon! Julie

I signed up for a new subscription and have the same login issue. Contacted steve by IM here and he's explained the reason for the slight delay on sorting out subs. I've always found him to be a helpfull and honest chap, so bear with him and I'm sure he'll sort it for everyone.

Allen is seriously Ill and Steve has no control over the site....I had to get a refund for now and hope Allen gets well enough to get the site running the way it should.

I'm so sorry to hear about Allen...I sure hope & pray he will recover completely and quickly!

I re-subscribed a few weeks back and had a bit of trouble when I wanted to change my log-in code to my own instead of the one I got from PW. I decided to stay with their code for now and have had no problems since. However, I understand that Allen is the site techie and handles the geeky stuff. I hope he recovers soon. I was sorry to hear he was ill. Anyway, Steve has always been more than helpful and I'm sure he won't leave you or anyone hanging. I've been trying to re-subscribe to the newsletter, too, but I haven't gotten it. I would imagine, that, too, is Allen's department, and that's why I haven't gotten it yet.

Allen handles everything that has to do with the site and Steve has no way of getting into the site and updating the front page or adding new members into Poserworld.Hopefully Steve will read this and update us on Allen Health problems. So far from the info I received threw paypal that he is too sick to even sit up for long periods of time.

Aww, that doesn't sound good at all. I hope Allen will recover in time! and in case it takes a long time, I hope he'll tell someone else how to actually manage the site...

I have the same (serious and pending) problem with my subscription, as a result of which I'm locked out of PoserWorld...:( I have decided to wait until Steve finds a way to sort out the situation. Right now what imports is Allen's health and I'm sending him my best wishes for a quick recovery. --Panos

I agree. Sometimes things are more important than Poser.
