Hey guys,

My primary Poser Models are EveV4 (Female) P4M (Dork).

Before you get out the pitch forks and torches, I want to say that I really like these characters, and that I cant yet afford the money or time to re-vamp new models.

I have attached an image to show how nice EveV4 can render out of Poser 5.

Anyway I have the following questions:

1)Does anyone still use EveV4 and how do you get around the issues of getting clothing (Conforming or Painted-on) to work with her? I have not been able to get any clothing to fit well and the UVMapping is strange around the abdomen and hips.

2)Is there a better bending P4M? If my P4M bends at the hips or waist I need to spend a lot of time doing post work editing.

I would appreciate any help or suggestions.

Thanks

The guy who made NEA (updated Posette available at Planit3d.com) is working on a similar update for Dork (called Domus, I think).

Thanks randym. I will keep an eye out for Domus.

He's already out there. Check out the link. You will want to fully check out PosetteForever.com. There may be other things on the site you find useful, too. PitKlad does some awesome work.

Domus? I can't remember if that means 'house' or 'master' in Latin..anyone know?..;) I've used Dork maybe twice in 4 years, I think I have Eve on CD somewhere, but never loaded her. Maybe if you go to Freebies and start from the end, and work forward, that'd be the way to find stuff. Maybe check the websites on the links there as well..hope that helps.

"Domus" means house, "dominus" means master or lord. By the way, 3Dream has a very nice revamped Posette on the MP, called Eternal Posette. When used in conjunction with the Aneta morph/texture set, she's a beauty. And dirt cheap compared to Vicki/Steph: $10 and you've got everything. Of course, she's still quite low-poly, which means distortions in more extreme poses. And since her body shape is fairly different from Posette, clothes won't fit. The Tailor helps, though. I sometimes use EveV4, Dork and Posette as background figures. Aneta/Eternal Posette sometimes as a foreground figure too. Eternal Judy is also a very nice revamped P5 Judy. She's actually beautiful, something that Judy never was. And she comes loaded with oodles of morphs, especially face morphs. She wears V2 textures - loads of them in freestuff. Oh, and Nea is CUTE!

Actully Judy can be pretty with a Nea head! :^) You can find Neja at PlanIt3D for free!

Nea/NeJa take V2 textures too!

As for Domus name I got the idea from a shop I see every day in my way to the office!

Domus 2.1 is a character for Dork that has various head morphs and corrects some problems on the cr2, plus he has scalable hands & feet

Domus 3 will be a new figure based on Dorks geometry with different head shape and improved UVS

Traveler (I think) did a .cr2 called eveclothingbase.zip To use it you cut and pasted some settings into your Posette clothing .cr2. It's been a long time but I seem to recall that it worked fairly well. Now I prefixed my copy with "EveV4" but I'm not sure if it was really for that version or if it works on other versions. I's no longer on his website but try contacting him at RDNA and ask. If he doesn't have a copy, I can send it to you if he says it's OK.

I've got New EvolutionEve V3. I've never heard of EveV4. Where can I find her? I've Yahoo searched, but came up with nothing.

Looking at the readme, it sounds like Traveler actually created her. Try contacting him at RuntimeDNA where he usually hangs out these days. She's no longer on his website.
