Oh no, its definitly NOT a bad shot! AWESOME inflight-capture!!! Thats it...im getting me a bird-feeder...and hopefully something like this comes by to feed on the smaller birds, lol. MAN LOOK AT THOSE CLAWS!!!
How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when
isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is
supposed to be fire and brimstone?

Great shot. It's kind of funny but when i saw your comment (on L8RDAZE's post)concerning this pic, i said to myself " I would just clone out the offending power lines if that was all that was spoiling the pic". Then here you go and post it with that very thing done. LOL. It is an awesome shot of this Hawk and I see no indication of any disruptive power lines. You did good all the way around. Bravo. I think it can be said you got your Hawk shot.
Thanks everyone. I always try and carry my camera with me, just in case I catch a glimpse. We where driving home after Church on Sunday and I got a glimpse of the hawk. So here we go jumping out of the van, grabbing the camera and he flies away. Jump back in the van and follow him around, had to shoot from inside the van, as this guy/girl flies away at the sight of my camera. LOL I can not tell you how many times I have made my daughter laugh, by jumping out of the car and running after a hawk. (I am a 295lb old man, so running is not exactly what I do)
