Starting this new thread as a continuation of the older, "Poser 5 Lockups" set that was getting just a might long. There, I've mentioned that Poser is locking on me at even the smallest renders despite having a pretty hefty computer now with a new hard drive and over a gig of RAM. But it also will lock on me sometimes...more and more frequently...when I try to save a scene file, save or load a custom character to or from the library. Now I have removed the Content Room as is detailed elsewhere, and I've also changed the IU options that allow me to see more than 100 thumbnails in each library file. Dunno if either of these could cause any stability problems, but thought I'd mention it anyway. I'd really like to hear if anyone is having or have had similar problems, and if you fixed them, what you did.

I removed the content paradise room and changed the thumbnails option and it had no bad effect on the stability of poser 5 so it is probably something else causing the problems.
