Subject: basic V3 body head map

Hi there Does anyone knows where to get a "clear" V3 body/head map? All the maps that i got have makeup etc etc on them or the are DAZ original and copyrighted. And some free maps are to mutch changed to use... Please if you know some help me out Thnx in advance Chris

On the bottom of V3's page are the Seam Guides, which are the "clearest" maps you'll get, they just simply show you the layout of the maps and you paint your own. http://www.daz3d.com/shop.php?op=itemdetails&item=1098

I know someone did publish an "open source" texture map - just the basic skin tones, for you to add your own details to. Is that what you mean? I'm looking for that for one of my own projects, if I find it I'll let you know.

Okay, I found it - it's V3freetex by Dale Larsen (member name d-larsen). It isn't available in his freestuff, but the good news is that redistribution is allowed. I've put it up temporarily at the link. Careful! It runs to about 14MB. :)

Great news !! But 14 mb takes about <30 sec. for me i got a download rate of >650 Kbps so thats no problem, even higher if its a fast site :} Anyway..... THNX Mr BOB
