a friend(s). and i'd love to hear a story too if you wish to share! this is Jeramie, and she's from the Phillipines. she came to the U.S. about 4 years ago. she's here studying to be a nurse. she and i work together at the doctors' office, and i trained her when she first started working there. what's interesting is that Jec (her nickname) and i are such close friends even though i'm the age of her mother. where she's a very mature, responsible young adult, i'm a goofy middle-aged gal who still acts like a kid most of the time. i guess since neither one of us act our age that's why we don't feel the age difference? this picture was taken 3 years ago after the end of a grueling semester at the University of Louisville. We were both taking algebra that semester (and of course working full time), and me, Jec, and kemal were having a celebration lunch at the California Pizza Kitchen because Jec and i both got A's in our algebra classes!! YAY!! anyway, kemal and i keep hoping to find a day that we can do a photo shoot of Jec, but she works two jobs, and between her schedule and ours, we can never find a day to get together. she even has to work 8 hours on Christmas. :(

Darn...this Simone requires that you have friends....sigh.sad.gif And real ones too...i cant very well photograph my imaginary ones can i? LOL. Excellent pick Sheila, and what a little cutie she is. Priceless smile. #:O)

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?

Here is My Friend Cirestfots (Eric)...We Rob Banks together and since the demise of Stockings, We now share the same Pantyhose. He is a real Baaaaaaaaaaaaad Bugger ...just like Me....so...if You see Him and He gives You an offer You can't refuse...do NOT annoy Him by pulling His Elastic. ~~~ And...if I am the 2nd to Post...I forego the next turn... I don't want to be greedy, just because I have heaps of odd Friends....and...a charming story and Friend You have Sheila!

tvernuccio ( ) posted Wed, 21 December 2005 at 4:26 PM

brian, i am totally LMAO over your crazy picture!!! It's fantastic!! You & Eric look quite the scary pair!! so guys rob banks in your spare time, eh? well, you can be sure if i will be hiding my piggy bank from you on the MotherShip!!! :) Don't worry, i would never pull Eric's elastic (or yours either for that matter!) A run would look just way too unsightly!!! :) Andreas, now i know you're just teasin', but if you or anyone else would prefer to show a picture of man's best friend or your alien friends, well...that's cool with me! :)

....not so fast.....I have a couple toooo. Dave up top, John on the floor. These are the guys I've spent many countless hours working, traveling, & having fun with. Yes we share the same twisted humor and appreciation for creating. Lunch time while working with these two is always an adventure as we're always open to new and interesting venues/menus. Military Air bases, restaurants like Mickey D's, Antique homes & commercial renovations. This is a coffee nook attached to an Art gallery in Norwich, Connecticut. I'ts a good thing we're not joined at the hip, We'd never get any work done.

Shelia what a good idea...... Here is James (known as Half Pint) who used to work with us a couple of years ago before the company got rid of all of the staff. This Friday, yes THIS Friday he starts back with us after 2 years and week at the Hatchery. He has been a good friend since I moved to Scotland. Only thing is he is a nightmare to work with especially when he has a long handled net in his hands, DUCK, smack on the back of the head. I can't believe I requested him to come back!!! Yes you guessed, we are working over Christmas starting this Friday. We were meant to have Christmas off this year until a phone call yesterday at 3pm, oh well. Hope you all have a great Christmas. Doug, is that Disco Duck on Battista's shirt? haha!! love the hair! and he really looks pretty much the same now 'cept for the stouch and the afro!! :) Steve, why they call him Half Pint? he doesn't like to drink a whole one?? :) so your friend has a really bad aim, eh? I hope you don't mind but I did a little collage! :) From left to right: This is a couple that I work with all dressed for St. Patty's Day! What a joy to know this husband and wife team, always level headed and always willing to listen. I would call these people "friends", maybe not as close as these other two but still friends indeed! This guy is my best friend in the world, he is there for me through thick and thin and our bond is like we are one person most of the time. We may not always agree, but at least we can agree to disagree. Here you can see he is feeding a squirrel at Bok Tower Gardens, an animal lover like myself, who accompanies me on quite a few of my shoots, This man is responsible for me shooting the Blue Cypress series without him there would be no "Blue Cypress". One "friend" who I would not hesitate to entrust with my life, I love you sweetie! :) This gal is also my best friend, one of the most beautiful people inside and out that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She has also stood with me through thick and thin, and is always there to listen to me "vent", calm me down, cheer me up or even accompany me on one of my shoots. I am also there for her 24/7 to listen to her "vent", calm her down, cheer her up, or whatever, we are joined at the hip most of the time and many of our co workers call her Brenda! LOL! She is there with me when I take most of the images you see. A true jewel and a rare find! Another friend that I would not hesitate to entrust my life to! What a wonderful topic Shelia and a beautiful friend you have there! :) Brian you always make me smile, even when I am feeling blue, love this shot! :) Wonderful friends ICM, do they do side jobs? ;) Doug true friends stand the test of time, looks like this one has passed, how lucky you are my dear! :) Glad to hear that your friend is returning to work with you Steve, it is always nice to be surrounded by friends where you work, it makes the time spent there much more pleasant! :) Merry Christmas to all of you and may your New year be a happy and prosperous one! Hugs to all! Brenda :)

Great idea Sheila and great examples everyone. You do realize that Brian will be doing the next Simon, right? ;] I for one welcome a 2nd image from him. Okay, friends. I had them growing up. I had them in high school. I had them in college. Where are they now? Scattered all around the world. Do I have many people living near me I'd call good friends. Not really. Am I sad about that. No. I have full life and frankly don't have time for close friendships. The internet allows me to stay in touch with old friends, and meet great new ones like you guys here on Renderosity. Between my co-workers and family, i have all the people in my daily life that I need. In a perfect world with 72hr days, of course I'd like to form other relationships, but that isn't in the cards. To close, here is a shot of some of my co-workers, most really great people. We had a small company breakfast shindig yesterday morning and a Secret Santa gift exchange. Don't friends do that sort of thing? ;] **Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas everyone!**
