When I try to import an .obj from P4, the plugin makes the figure a dot on the screen. Is this how it is suppossed to work? How to I make it larger, if that's possible. Thanks.

You have to scale it up...alot ;-) Have you tried Maz' OBJaction scaler? http://www.sandylodge.demon.co.uk/html/utilities.html

Well, I don't have anything stylin' like Max...I use Anim8...and Metasequoia. Anim8 has some little eyeballs that you click on...then click on the bottome to "view". Works wonderfully!!! Also, it is free...so worth trying out. EASY for mesh dolts, like myself. Good luck. I used to hate that small little poser obj., myself, until I got the hang of it. I would imagine, at the price, Max should have something similar. If not, well, then I am glad I could not afford it in the first place.

I'm not going to directly answer this, as the same question has been asked and answered a hundred times, except to suggest you do a search on this subject over at the Max forum. The whole subject is very complicated, but it can be mastered.

Hi look into the tutorials section. I think there are some Max tuts that will explain it very well.

personally I use Habwares obj2max importer and the max2obj exporter, I import the geometry I want from the geometries folder, say just the head if making morphs and then simply click on zoom extents. The Habware plugin site is here http://www.habware.at/duck3.htm and as far as I know its free.hehehe anyway hope that helps.
