dltoday01.zip 304kB 2001/02/24 (pp2,rsr, jpg - this is: Mini car HONDA 'today' for Poser Props. ( Turbo Hood,Rear spoler,Racing tires and textures included)... dltoday11.zip 306kB - this is an OBJ of the Police Car... dlpat01.zip 202kB - Mini Police car of Metropolitan Police Department in Japan for Poser file... Thanks Fox! A little tricky to navigate through these great Japanese sites. I got Error403 "Forbidden" when I clicked on the link to the .zips. Moving up one level in the URL and then back down to the .zip allowed me to download successfully. Could you tell who the authors of the Navy and Policewoman figures were? I saw "ISO" and "ArrowHead" but could not tell if either was the name of the author.

kozaburo ( ) posted Thu, 15 March 2001 at 4:05 AM

Nance, Autor of the Navy and Policewoman costume is ISO. and...ArrowHead create a HONDA Police car. :)

Xurge ( ) posted Thu, 15 March 2001 at 6:27 AM

That is definetely ISO's page, I check that website everyday. His clothing items are the sweetest arround, specially the Rose dress and the lingerie. A whole lot of talent there.

Butch ( ) posted Thu, 15 March 2001 at 6:59 AM

Damn, I couldn't get them to work. Got 403 error message. And I really wanted all of those outfits.

SnowSultan ( ) posted Thu, 15 March 2001 at 9:40 AM

Butch, try going to http://www23.freeweb.ne.jp/photo/isop2400/ and then enter and try the downloads again. I had trouble at first too, but finally was able to get them with a little manual trial-and-error. :) Hope that helps! SnowS Hoping his pictures are worth 1001 words.

Had the same 403 error message. What worked for me in explorer was i copied the link to the clipboard then pasted it to the url line, clicked go on my browser and the file downloads. Hope this works for you :-)

ookami ( ) posted Thu, 15 March 2001 at 9:46 AM

Great job! Those are great! They can throw me in handcuffs anytime!

Fox-Mulder ( ) posted Thu, 15 March 2001 at 2:13 PM

I found some other really good stuff, but its in Japanese 0n-line magazine format and uses the rare LZH compression. You need to run the Japanese Kanji fonts downloadable from Microsoft and get something like WinZip 8.0 with LZH added in as a plugin... But if you like surfing Japanese websites there is more nice stuff out there...

SnowSultan ( ) posted Thu, 15 March 2001 at 3:14 PM

ZipNAll is a great free program that easily opens LZH and other unusual compression formats. Right now, their site says "Zip 'N' All is freeware until we install electronic payment system", so you might want to grab it before we have to pay for it too. ;) www.zipnall.com

What other stuff?

kewasi ( ) posted Thu, 15 March 2001 at 5:00 PM

got the same error message...what worked for me was...go to download page, in explorer, right click, and pick (save target as). Thanks SnowSultan for the zipnall link.

Did anyone check out Yoroi Orleans? Looks like a very nice mail-armored female. Downloading now. Thanks for the link. Good stuff.

Ookami- that's what I like, a real websurfing trooper... Here's a great link to "Digital Love Doll", an on-line Japanese newsletter about what Japanese guys are doing with Poser characters way-before we see them here (if ever) at Renderosity. You know how those Japanese are- they think something has to be pretty close to perfect before they will show us clods over here... "Digital Love Doll" isn't loaded, but what it has is very interesting- click on the small column at the left to "read" articles with nice photos and some LZH models to download- really nice stuff... If your Japanese is beyond just ordering basic Sushi and Kirin Beer, you can participate in Renderosity-like posts with the Zen-Masters themselves under BBS. Then check the always cool LINKS- Hot Stuff...

Direct link to the Police Motor-Bike, if the other link doesn't work...

Yes, ISO, Two-Sword, and others do SUPERB stuff! The cargo skirts/dresses/anime uniforms are really cute. I like how they revised the Cartoon kids to look like anime characters, really cute. Get WinRAR at http://www.winrar.com. That will help you unpack LZH and get Go!Zilla (it really does help). Anyway, while we are talking. I found this cute Hello Kitty Desktop Mascot. But they also have some 3D Japanese characters too. The desktop mascot sits on your desktop and it moves, talks, and you can get your mail, launch programs etc. everything is in Japanese though, but easy to use. Here is the link http://mascot.desk.ne.jp/ampages/download.html I got hello kitty, but like I said they have other characters. So take a look :)

Those's mascots are really interesting. Sort of like the characters in the Microsoft Office products, but Yuki-chan certainly exceeds those characters... Here's a few more items on Tomiya's webpages, like this nicely made helmet, plus some other items. You can see preview pictures by clicking on the Kanji just above the LZH and ZIP names. Here is the actual page of items... http://yokohama.cool.ne.jp/tomiya910/DL/index.html

bobsmash ( ) posted Fri, 16 March 2001 at 6:33 AM

No matter what I do I can't get any of the files to download, all I get is the 403 error message. There's some really nice looking uniforms that I would like to - erhmm - play with. I've tried pasting, rightclicking, leftclicking. sidestepping etc. I'm at lost what to try next. //Mike

Get Go!Zilla. At http://Gozilla.com. I didn't have to do anything, I just clicked on the link and gozilla downloaded everything. Trust me, you will use the program often.

bobsmash ( ) posted Fri, 16 March 2001 at 8:55 AM

It seems like Gozilla only works with pc, all the downloads is .exe. I'm on Mac. //Mike

RonGC ( ) posted Fri, 16 March 2001 at 10:10 AM

Bobsmash I'm on a mac as well and i use the save the link of the file you want to download to clipboard then paste it to the url line to get the models . i use IE 5 as the browser. Make sure to go to the browser prefs ,Advanced section, and clear your history and maybe cache and trash all your previous failed file down loads. Then the save file link to clipboard and paste routine should work. Fingers crossed LOL.

bobsmash ( ) posted Fri, 16 March 2001 at 2:04 PM

Ron - I'm not sure what you mean when you say save link to clipboard. I've tried to just type the linkname in the url, but I still get the forbidden 403 error. I've cleared the cache and history, I've tried both with and without cookies. I give up. //Mike

RonGC ( ) posted Fri, 16 March 2001 at 4:16 PM

Mike by save the link to clip board i meant copy the link . Sorry about the confusion, if you have a right button mouse you can just click on the link with the right button and select copy to clipboard, i use the MS intellimouse. If you have only a Mac mouse then One last thing you can try, click and hold on the image of the item and still holding the mouse button move the ghosted copy of the image to the url line then release the button, the url should change to that of the items pict. then click go and download should occur. If That dosn't work click my name link on this page to message me direct.
