Do you have Firefox set as your default browser?
I have some pages saved that were saved using IE, and when I open then using Firefox-Mozilla, I do get that "cannot find" or something, but the page still opens.
Did you get any of the extensions for Firefox-Mozilla?

I get that file not found as well. And yes, Firefox is my default browser and has been so fo r a long time. I just uncheck the View Readme while installing. If I REALLY want to see the readme at a later date, it works fine doubleclicking it from whereever it installed to. Firefox can open THAT, but I think the Readme launcher assumes you've got Internet Exploiter as your default browser...

Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.
If it helps.....I just went and d/l version 1.5 and have had more "Wont' Cant' Unavailible" pages than ever before! And I have been a faithful user of it going on 3 1/2 years now. Sometihing has been changed...You can reduce the security level in IE Explorer a little( Dont' ask but they do effect FireFox!) and this seems to help....But then ZoneAlarm gets upset? I will watch this thread to see if anybody has any ideas!
Strangely enough, I used to have a big problem with this. I started using Firefox not long before DAZ started using their "new style" installers the ones that offered a DAZ|Studio option, and used the actual DAZ logo as the file icon. I never got a "file not found" though, I'd just have a short delay after installation, as Firefox started up, then... nothing. Back to the desktop. There was never a problem with the old style installers, they always worked.
Then, some time early this year, something changed and all my readmes have started up properly. I can't understand it, since I was in between Firefox upgrades, and hadn't installed anything else immediately beforehand. I just chalked it up to "one of those weird M$ glitches that assume I use IE"... =)

Nice to know I'm not Jonah then - they used to work fine for me up until about the 2nd last update to Firefox - but stranglely enough once in a while one will shiock me and open up on cue.......

Quote - Install your item as normal but unselect 'View Readme'. Then go to the ReadMe's folder that was just installed and double click on the "productREADME.htm" and it will open in Firefox (if Firefox is set to be your default browser).
That's what I always do. I don't have trouble finding the file because I install/unzip files to a separate folder for sorting before placing it in my final runtime.
