I have poser6 installed on my system and tried installing the same on another computer in the network. Now it opens and as soon as it shows the username and serial number it closes. Some one please tell me how to solve this problem.

You'll need to purchase another copy of Poser. Your licence only allows you to run one instance at a time.

Try disconnecting the machine from the network, or it run indepenantly from the other machine. Poser 6 like many progs are made for one machine only. You can use it on a back up machine but only one or the other not at the same time on a network or internet connection. Other than that you have to buy another licence or full programme to use it. If you use firewall software like Zonealarm (which is free), you can just tell the firewall not to let Poser communicate with the network. Then Poser will load up just fine and you don't have to disconnect anything. -jjsemp

A lot of us single-machine users do that ZoneAlarm thing. Poser doesn't seem to distinguish very well between a LAN and the whole Internet.
