Subject: Monthly Challenge December
A fabulous night image. The medeival towns of Belgium are so picturesque and you have captured here perfectly. I moved my comment to this posting :)

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when
isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is
supposed to be fire and brimstone?

This is the most renowm view of my town, Ghent, Belgium. In the Middle-Ages, this place was the harbour of the town. I wonder if anyone, nowadays knows the excat number of bridges wich the town has. Ghent was build on the confluent of two rivers and, in addition, has many manmade canals. It has at least seventy bridges.
