Anybody using primivol point out any real benefits of primivol over primitive improvements in c5pro? Thanks.

Primivol works very well with C5 and I would recommend you using it in C5. Also the Primivol plugins can be use with the particle emitter.

Was trying to get some insight into advantages/improvements it offers over the improvements in c5 primitives from someone who has used both. Are you saying similiar c5 primitives cannot be used w/ the PE? Thanks.

the C5 primitives can be use with the Particle emitter but the Primivol primitives are much better. The C5 primitives are just basic compare to the Primivol ones. The only real difference in C5 is the new Volumetric clouds but than again those are not primitive. I would recommend you downloading them and try them out. Ringo

Got a problem tho. The demos look old(3/4) and the updates don't work ...must be for customers only...no demo mode.

You could actually use baker or veloute with primivol couldn't you?

Well bought the Advance Pack while they were having the sale so will have to play.Knew I was gonna need Baker and Veloute so. Wow this thing has snowballed.(Got C5pro, Hex, ShoeS, Adv. pack)will have to hit DCG a bit later on. The plugins just add so much. Like w/ ShoeS..needed iridescense since I want to play w/ some things like fish.Hex has been fun. So has C5Pro altho have run into a few minor bugs. Also wish to turn off the splash screen. Guess I better put it to work, by the way Ringo looking forward to the DVD.Thanks for the input everyone.
